In the perfect summer evening atmosphere, we’ll be screening 19 silent films from around the world with live accompaniment by outstanding regional and international musicians in the Arkadenhof at the University of Bonn.
This year marks the 42nd edition of the Bonn Summer Cinema, which has grown into Europe’s largest silent film festival right in the heart of Bonn. You can look forward to funny slapstick comedies, crime dramas, avant-garde experimental films, a docu-fiction, and an early horror film.
