InterZone Perceptible are back on 16.05.2025 at 20:00, this time with the movie ASPHALT.
In it, a constable is seduced by a thief. It's about jealousy, deceit, lies and murder .... but also about honor, morality, loyalty and responsibility.

From the story, which at first sounds like that of a Threepenny Novel, Joe May develops a film whose characters are illuminated by deep psychology. In 2010, the StummFilmMusikTage Erlangen festival commissioned InterZone Perceptible to compose music for this film. It was the first romantic film to date for which IzP was commissioned to compose music. Without a commission, IzP would never have had the idea of entering this genre at the time. Today it is one of their favorite productions.

The result is music that captures both the flickering of the hot air above the asphalt of the urban jungle and the melodrama of the plot, music for electrified accordion, electric bass, live electronics, keyboards and feeds. And anyone who knows InterZone knows that the horror that lies dormant in every love story will also come to light.
