INTO THE FIELDS - 11. Internationales Tanzfestival

The curated dance festival "Into the fields" is taking place in Bonn for the eleventh time. From April 12-28, 2024, the international dance festival will present contemporary dance by international companies and artists from NRW.

This time, it takes the audience into the unknown - it takes a look at the big picture as well as microcosms, creating fascinating images and narratives.
The question of who we are and how we connect with the world around us is a recurring theme. How do individuals locate themselves in a community and how great is the longing for solidarity, for creating a space together and becoming part of something?

The human body with its inexhaustible possibilities is the pivotal point. The participating artists take very different approaches. On the one hand, they show virtuosically crafted movement studies that go to the limits of what is possible - on the other, they lead us through intense emotional worlds, create sensual stimuli and make physical presence tangible.

In addition to current pieces by the Bonn companies CocoonDance and Tanzwerke Vanek Preuß, productions by HARTMANNMUELLER (D), El Cuco Projekt (D), Dencuentro Tanzkollektiv (D), Góbi Dance Company (HU) and Michèle Murray (F) can also be experienced.

Look forward to exciting encounters in the Theater im Ballsaal and the Tanzgenerator Bonn (in the Kulturzentrum Brotfabrik) as well as a trip to the Kunstmuseum Bonn!
