IRONIC PERSPECTIVE

Giorgi Shengelia was born in 1977 in Sukhumi, Georgia, and studied art in Tbilisi. Since 2003 he has lived in Bergen, North Holland, where he creates paintings as well as installations and sculptures. He is also active in photography and deals with many themes such as nature, city life and love. As an artist, he is interested in the tension between the real and the artificial. His paintings are variable in style and size, his sculptures are mostly made of steel and scrap materials. His powerful works will be exhibited under the title "Ironic Perspective" from September 12 - 15, 2025.

The vernissage is on September 12 from 18:00. The opening hours are Saturday 13:00 - 20:00, Sunday 13:00 - 18:00 and Monday 13:00 - 16:00. The exhibition takes place at Kunstraum K49, Goltsteinstr. 49, 50968 Cologne-Bayenthal.
