The six sonatas and partitas by Johann Sebastian Bach are like a wondrous journey through the violin cosmos. Resident artist Isabelle Faust takes on a challenging overview of this bible of all violinists - a rare live experience. Her Bach playing is unique: sometimes light-footed, sometimes gripping, she realizes the sound ideals of the Baroque era in her own personal way.
