ITERATION 5.0 - Bytes and Being

What does it mean to be human in a world increasingly permeated by digital systems?
As every year, we would like to invite you to encounter Code and Context up close at our annual exhibition, this time with a special twist. Not only is the iteration entering its next round, but for the first time it also has a motto:

Under the motto "Bytes & Being", this year's Iteration is dedicated to the relationship between being and technology and the nature given to us, between the organic and the artificial.

In the field of tension between digitality, physicality and consciousness, questions of identity, perception and responsibility will be renegotiated.
Where do the boundaries between the natural and the technical become blurred?
What forms of "being" emerge in a world in which data, machines and people are inextricably intertwined?

"Bytes & Being" invites you to explore these interfaces - critically or experimentally.
It is about the aesthetic, emotional and social dimensions of technological developments.
We are transforming our learning spaces into a unique exhibition scene on which countless projects from the past two semesters will find their place.
The iteration is characterized by motivation, diversity and collaboration and represents Code and Context with its three disciplines: programming, design and founding.
In addition, we are putting together a program with captivating talks and discussions, exciting workshops and a final afterparty. We will talk about topics such as artificial intelligence, digital influences on our lives and equality in the tech industry.
