„IUS EST …“: Vernissage und Auftaktveranstaltung

From August 28 to 30, 2026, Sovereign. Raum für Recht. at Roggenmarkt 1 in Münster invites you to the kickoff event for the social initiative “IUS EST ….” Visitors can reflect on what justice means to them personally and complete the phrase “IUS EST …” with their own thoughts, experiences, and stories.

The event will be accompanied by art and short guided tours through the historic rooms. Münster-based artist Igor Zhuk will create portraits of visitors free of charge. Artist Thalie Rose Garcin will capture impressions and statements from the day in her drawings. Ten-minute guided tours titled “From the Moat to the Wall” offer insights into the history of the site.

The contributions, portraits, and drawings will become part of an ongoing exhibition.
