In everyday life, elementary phenomena are taken for granted as we move through the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When we pause and allow ourselves a moment of intense observation, we wonder and perhaps even ask questions about reality itself.

In *Sonnenspuren*, this pursuit of uncertainty becomes alchemy and explores the relationship between light and matter. The artworks trace the materiality of light and the way in which light - which always transforms into energy - takes on a solid form.

The gallery becomes an ambiguous space in which there is no specific state of matter or time. Is the viewer witnessing an inkling of a future that we cannot witness, or is it a glimpse into a world of life long past?
