Jam Session – True Sound Stories

Every Tuesday: Jam Session in the Jazz-Schmiede.

The evening always starts at 8pm with an opener concert set, the weekly changing formations are announced on our homepage.
Afterwards, from around 9pm, there is an open jam session - anyone can come and join in to jam with other musicians and the opening band.

Free admission, so the sessions are also a great opportunity to get to know the Schmiede in an uncomplicated way.

Opener:
With her debut album 'Home', she brings the rhythms of pop, jazz and soul to the stage with passion - Viktoria Küpper and her band 'True Sound Stories'. Together with composer and jazz guitarist Simon Harscheidt, they formed a duo to pursue the joy of making music together. With their first album 'Home', the duo line-up expanded into a larger band formation. Trombone sounds and groovy rhythms from the drums as well as the deep bass sounds make the musical color spectrum multifaceted and offer the musicians a lot of musical and creative freedom, which is expressed in the interpretation of the pieces. Their music is a constant exchange with each other, each note a part of their own personal and musical story.
