Jane's Addiction announce their first German gigs in 20 years.

Jane's Addiction have announced their first live performance in Germany in 20 years. The legendary US alternative band featuring original members Perry Farrell, Eric Avery, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins will perform in Hamburg at Große Freiheit 36 on June 6, 2024 and in Cologne at Carlswerk Victoria on June 25, 2024.

Janes's Addiction were founded in Los Angeles in 1985 and are considered to be key pioneers of alternative rock. The band has released four studio albums over the course of their career. The band's last album, "The Great Escape Artist", was released in October 2011 and the last single "Another Soulmate" was released in 2013. In autumn 2013, Jane's Addiction were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Jane's Addiction's first release was the impressive, self-titled live album "Jane's Addiction" (1987), which was followed by two studio albums, "Nothing Shocking" (1988) and "Ritual De Lo Habitual" (1990). The band's first farewell tour in 1991 was the starting signal for the first Lollapalooza festival, which has since developed into a recurring alternative rock festival.

Earlier this year, Jane's Addiction debuted a new song called "True Love" at a concert at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California.
Frontman and Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell has been actively involved in collaborations and most recently contributed his vocals to "So Trendy", a song by Sleaford Mods.
