JAZZ CITY BILK 2025 - GUITAR MEETING II PHIL'S FLYING AXES

Phil's Flying Axes & special guest Philipp Wisser (7 guitars & rhythm section) This extraordinary guitar ensemble has existed at its core for 25 years. Thanks to the individuality of the members and special arranging techniques, the ensemble's music combines elements of jazz, blues, rock and Latin to create an exciting new sound with unique guitar arrangements and beautiful compositions.

The Phil's Flying Axes play under the direction of Philipp van Endert, whose energetic yet lyrical playing makes him one of the most sought-after jazz guitarists in Germany. The members of Phil's Flying Axes are mainly pupils and students from his teaching activities at the Düsseldorf Robert-Schumann Musikhochschule, the Lernort-Studio and the music school of the city of Neuss. Special guest Philipp Wisser, who was a former student of Philipp van Endert and has since established himself as a creative and important voice in the current jazz scene, will be a special guest.
