The Dutch music duo Polynation mix ambient, pop, minimalism and techno.
Acoustic drums played live are combined with analog synthesizers and a wide range of instruments such as piano, kalimba, bass and electric guitar, tape delays and saxophone.
Polynation develops its organic-cinematic sound from live improvisations. Acoustic sounds, combined with electronic signals, meticulously elaborated and yet always lively, imperfect and full of emotion: Somewhere between electronica, ambient and world music.
Stijn Hosman and Hessel Stuut have been working with the Dutch label Atomnation since 2015 and have released three EPs and their acclaimed debut album "Igneous". They have also remixed Joep Beving on Deutsche Grammophon and have won over the likes of Gilles Peterson with their artful sounds and polished studio work.

Polynation are constantly evolving and have created a beautifully diverse sound that has generated over 20 million streams on Spotify alone. Their dynamic live performances have enriched festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Wildeburg, Secret Garden Festival, ADE and DGTL as well as clubs across Europe.

"Dub Funk Session" - this is the name of the album by Düsseldorf musician Ralf Stritt,
which was released on the Italian label Irma Records. And this is exactly what
can be expected at the concert in the Weltkunstzimmer: analog synthesizers meet a precision bass
