The Azzam/Berndt duo was already celebrated for their performance at “Miniaturen”; now the two musicians have put together a full-length program! A mix of elegant ballads, driving grooves, and humorous moments promises an entertaining evening of music that brings the spirit of jazz to life in an intimate atmosphere. With a keen sense of swing, musical sophistication, and a spontaneous joy of playing, singer Dina Azzam and pianist Thomas Berndt put their personal stamp on well-known jazz standards.
