Under the motto "A Swinging Christmas", Cologne pianist Max Köhler and his quartet serve up Christmas straight-ahead jazz - warm as raclette and slightly burning like Feuerzangenbowle. In addition to well-known classics of the season, the program also includes the band's own compositions, which round off the evening musically. The quartet shows how versatile and lively Christmas music can sound in jazz. A relaxed, swinging start to the festive season.
