Jean Faure & son orchestre présentent "Vive La Chanson"
In the organizer's words:
With a total of 383 years under their belts, almost 240 years of stage presence and multicultural roots, from the south of France to Persia via the Baltic States, Düsseldorf (!) and the deepest Westerwald, JEAN FAURE & SON ORCHESTRE have clearly still not had enough after almost two decades in the service of French CHANSONS. To celebrate the day - their singer's milestone birthday - they want to perform known and unknown, snappy and solemn, witty and poignant CHANSONS from their overflowing treasure trove in their esteemed pantheon in the tried and tested manner... As Beaumarchais once wrote in Figaro's Wedding: "Tout finit par des CHANSONS" - "Everything ends with chansons"...
L'ORCHESTRE:
Hedayet Djeddikar: piano, keyboards
Dirk Ferdinand: drums
Kristaps Grasis: guitars, mandolin, ukulele
Matthias Höhn: saxophones, bass clarinet, concertina, charango etc.
Markus Quabeck: double bass, electric bass
