For their project Timelines, the brothers are once again working with two long-time friends
Colombian bassist Camilo Villa, who now lives in Düsseldorf, and German drummer Dennis Frehse, who has lived in Tokyo for many years. The four musicians have known each other since their early artistic careers, but had lost sight of each other for a long time. The reunion now leads to a collaboration in which musical paths and experiences flow together across continents.
The quartet creates a lively, rhythmically present and at the same time melody-oriented band sound.

Saxophonist Jan Prax joins the ensemble as a special guest. He is one of the
distinctive voices of contemporary German jazz and impresses with a powerful and
powerful, yet differentiated tone. With his melodically clear and rhythmically
precise playing, he adds an additional tonal color to Timelines and brings new impulses to the band's interplay.
"Timelines" shows five musicians coming together again after many years and combining their
different musical experiences into a common, melodic and lively band sound.
