Juliette Magnevasoa creates a quiet pull on stage that is hard to resist. Her voice and a guitar - that's all the exceptional artist from Madagascar, who was adopted to France as a child, needs to captivate her audience. Juliette Magnevasoa combines chanson and folk to create songs of touching intimacy. She talks about her two home countries, her origins, new beginnings and the subtle in-between, opening up a view of a wider world. She has been performing on French stages for almost ten years and has now built up a large fan base. Every morning, without exception, Juliette Magnevasoa sings for two and a half hours, accompanying herself on the guitar. It is her daily routine with which she works on her guitar technique, her voice and her expression. At the end of each session, she shares an excerpt of a song that is close to her heart - usually a cover - which she posts on Instagram.
