As part of the exhibition Salt by Magali Reus, the Junge Kunstfreund*innen invite you to a joint upcycling workshop at Kunstverein Freiburg. We will be accompanied throughout the afternoon by Barbara Ibo, founder of the Upcycling WERTstatt in Freiburg, who will lead the workshop.

The workshop will begin with a joint tour of the exhibition and a keynote speech that will introduce the afternoon's theme. The focus will be on examining our consumer behavior and its cycles. Upcycling is the creative transformation of waste and discarded materials into new, higher-quality objects. With this guiding principle in mind, we will try to find a creative answer - in the form of self-made key rings - to questions about our throwaway society in the afternoon workshop. Afterwards, we will round off the evening with a few drinks.
