FRAGILE, handle with care

Where does origin begin and where does home get lost in the blur of time? Emina Suljkanovic works with acrylic, airbrush and spray paint on canvas. In her artistic practice, she explores the themes of home, loss, trauma and identity. As a highly sensitive artist, she understands her perception as an unfiltered process: every feeling and every echo of the past flows into her works. She uses the airbrush technique as a medium to depict the fleeting nature of memory. It is a search for identity in places that only exist in the blur of past experiences.

With FRAGILE, handle with care, the artist aims to create an emotionally charged space at the Till Ten Bar. The accompanying video performance invites visitors to experience this unfiltered perception of the world physically and emotionally and to experience the space as a place where vulnerability becomes visible.

Emina Suljkanovic (*2000, Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina) studied Fine Arts at the Macromedia University in Freiburg im Breisgau. She lives and works as an artist in the Freiburg region. In 2025 she received the fourth award for fine arts from the city of Freiburg.
