Juno and their *Future Sounds of Nowhere* take us on a journey to the peripheries of the pop landscape, somewhere between post-rock, minimal music, and electronica. With warm guitar sounds, fragmentary lyrics, and expansive spaces, Juno searches for sonic languages that, despite their boldness, never lose their sensitivity. At the same time, beats that are at times straightforward and at times polyrhythmic clearly situate the music in the digital age of sample-based modern music production. Emotionally recognizable, yet inscrutable and complex.
