There are those days when you sometimes look at a seemingly burning world in despair, sometimes full of anger and sometimes full of zest for action. But these are often also the days when you take a nostalgic look in the rear-view mirror and remember. And no, not everything was better in the past, but everything was different. Past and present are intertwined in Juse Jus' new project "In jenen Tagen".

After last year's laid-back top 10 album "BAWRS" with Fatoni and Edgar Wasser, which was characterized by battlerap and humour, Juse returns to what has made him one of the most important voices in alternative German-language rap music of the last ten years: Nostalgic, autobiographical journeys through time hand in hand with politically concrete, biting, sometimes satirical observations of the present. But what reads like the recipe of a political songwriter remains musically sub-bass-deeply anchored in hip-hop with Juse Ju. Not only in terms of the beats, but also the density of the punchlines.
