With wit, charm, and a view of the world through his own “Duisburg-Marxloh lens,” Tony Bauer takes the audience on a journey through his everyday life, his neighborhoods, his hood. He talks about Hassan, Grandma and Grandpa, living with short bowel syndrome, and the fact that he has an afterlife—a very, very funny one at that! With his stage presence and an inspiring story, Tony Bauer invites all audience members to dive into his world with him. 

Young, likable, and above all, funny—that’s TONY BAUER. This passionate rising star from Duisburg has breathed new life into the comedy scene in no time at all! With his unique sense of humor and an impressive life story, he’s made a name for himself and conquered stages across Germany. 

Tony Bauer has short bowel syndrome, a challenging health condition that requires him to rely on a continuous supply of nutrients via a tube. But instead of letting his illness get him down, Tony decided to face it with a smile and take to the comedy stage. His motto, which he lives by and embodies on stage, is: “We have to die a few times before we’re allowed to live cool.” This attitude reflects his positive energy and determination.

 Since 2022, Tony Bauer has thrilled audiences in many shows with his quick wit and self-deprecating humor. Already with one of his first performances at the “NightWash” laundromat, he proved himself ready for Europe’s biggest stage: At the 1LIVE Comedy Night XXL in October 2022, he wowed over 13,000 spectators. In the spring of 2024, he won the hearts of TV viewers with his appearance on “Let’s Dance.” RTL subsequently invited him to join the judging panel of “Das Supertalent.”

Since fall 2024, he has also been touring throughout Germany with his first solo show, “Fallschirmspringer.” After tickets for the fall ’24 tour sold out almost immediately, the tour will continue in 2025.
