Kammerkonzert: Leonkoro Quartett
In the organizer's words:
- Leonkoro Quartet
- Jonathan Schwarz, violin
- Emiri Kakiuchi, violin
- Mayu Konoe, viola
- Lukas Schwarz, cello
Having performed as part of the “Young Stars” series in a previous season, the Leonkoro Quartet has emerged as one of the leading and most sought-after string quartets of the younger generation worldwide. In addition to works by Beethoven and Schubert, the program features the world premiere of a string quartet by Sauli Zinovjev. The composition by the young Finnish composer—whose works are performed by the world’s leading orchestras—is a commission from, among others, the Beethoven-Haus.
With the kind support of the Hermann J. Abs Foundation.
- Ludwig van Beethoven, String Quartet in C minor, Op. 18 No. 4
- Sauli Zinovjev, commissioned work for the Leonkoro Quartet (world premiere)
