Kammermusikreise nach Wien, London und Rom

In the organizer's words:

Thuringian Castle Concerts 2026: Special concert

Three musical metropolises, three great composers, one extraordinary ensemble: Trio Triton invites you on a sonorous chamber music journey through Europe.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote his six Viennese piano trios in 1786 and 1788 - works of captivating elegance and dialogic sophistication. Joseph Haydn was inspired by the popularity of Hungarian "gypsy themes" in London in 1795 and created a spirited trio full of rhythmic energy and folkloristic colors. The emotional climax is Peter Tchaikovsky's great piano trio, composed in Rome in the winter of 1881/82 - a deeply personal work of poignant expressiveness, dedicated to his friend Nikolai Rubinstein.

The Trio Triton, founded in 1988, can look back on an international concert career with performances in renowned halls as well as radio and television productions. Since 2021, the trio has been active again in a new line-up - with the founding member Claudia Schwarze (cello), the award-winning violinist Iulian Dedu, concertmaster of the Roma and Sinti Philharmonic Orchestra, and Ralph Neubert (piano), internationally sought-after pianist and director of studies at the Erfurt Theater.

An afternoon full of musical depth, virtuosity and European sound culture - chamber music at the highest level in the stylish ambience of the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden.
