Grab a canoe. Paddling the Bille.
We have a small canoe rental shop here on the Bille.
Uncomplicated, open, without a lot of fuss.
A few steps down to the water at Osterbrookplatz.
Get in, push off -
and after a few minutes everything feels different.
The noises become quieter.
The pace too.
Under bridges, past brick, then more green than city.
A little paddling, drifting in between.
That's all you need for a few good hours out.
Into the canoe. Off we go.
