The Berlin-based anatolian-post-punk-new-wave group explodes with dynamic, polyrhythmic psych grooves, energetic live performances and a galactic penchant for otherworldly effects.

Not content to span continents, musical genres, time periods and the universe, Kara Delik is responsible for conjuring a dynamic, contemporary psychedelic Anatolian post-punk dub sound. The collaborative creation of a group of musicians, each bringing their own stylistic past, has produced something unique and energetic: a narrative of the history of Anatolian rock, krautrock and dub - all delivered with a sparkling and explosive live energy.

Formed in 2020, Kara Delik made their first major appearance on the Berlin scene with their debut EP Tamam. From there, they took their sounds across the continent and later rewarded their fans with a tetralogy of EPs titled Singularities I-IV.

The year 2025 marks the release of the international trio's highly anticipated first studio album, which will be released independently on April 11. The self-titled album, Kara Delik, will feature 11 tracks of the band's unique blend of energetic, complex rhythms, soundscapes and effects. It delivers a powerful post-punk thunderstorm with Anatolian heat.
