Karibuni - Weltmusik für Kinder
In the organizer's words:
On June 28, the group Karibuni will be a guest at Villa Nachttanz with "Children's songs from around the world".
Karibuni" means "welcome" in Kiswahili. The music group led by Josephine Kronfli and Pit Budde combines international children's songs with modern and traditional sounds. The songs are sung in the original language and in German - playful, lively and intercultural.
Karibuni has received several awards for its world music for children, including from WDR, Unicef and the German Record Critics' Award.
