On November 6, it’s going to be loud, wild, and musically quite diverse! With a mix of garage rock, synth sounds, Neue Deutsche Welle, and plenty of quirky humor, the TV-Club will host three acts that are guaranteed not to fit into any single category.
HEADLINER: Katha and the Dudes
The long-lost child of Wir sind Helden and the Neue Deutsche Welle is back! Katha und die Dudes blend rock, rockabilly, jazz, blues, and singer-songwriter styles into a sound all their own. The lyrics are all about life in your mid-twenties: quarter-life crises, love, world-weariness, and everything else that just isn’t going right. Honest, energetic, and with a healthy dose of humor.
OPENING ACT 1: Jamalura
Raw guitar sounds, catchy hooks, and eccentric vocals: Jamalura captures the essence of garage rock. Ray’s solo project from Dresden transforms into a garage rock duo live and promises plenty of energy and grit.
SUPPORT 2: CARBØN
Funk-infused synth rock meets alternative sounds and heavy guitars. CARBØN blends electronic sounds with a powerful stage presence, creating a sound that’s as diverse as it is danceable.
