Kee Avil (Kanada) Vapor Tour 2026

In her deconstructed songs, Montreal-based musician and producer Kee Avil blends guitar, vocals, and electronic production with avant-pop, glitch, and experimental folk. She released her debut album, *Crease*, in 2022, followed by her second album, *Spine*, in 2024. By the time *Spine* was released, Kee Avil had established herself as a distinctive voice in the realm of experimental songwriting, evoking memories of PJ Harvey and Eartheater, SOPHIE and Lucretia Dalt, and Juliana Molina meeting Autechre.

Evidence that Kee Avil views her music as a total work of art includes nominations for Best Album Artwork at the Juno Awards and the visual elements of her live performances, designed by digital artist Myriam Bleau. Her visual work for the album *Crease* was featured, among other places, in the film programs of the Wavelength Festival and the Supersonic Festival.
Kee Avil has toured extensively and performed at the Ruhrtriennale, Le Guess Who?, A L’Arme, UH Fest, A Colossal Weekend, Sled Island, Wine Nat White Heat, the Guelph Jazz Festival, the Vancouver Jazz Festival, the Tone Festival, FME, Pop Montreal, and Pique, as well as opening for artists such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Xiu Xiu, SUUNS, and Big|Brave.

Vapor, Kee Avil ’s third album, will be released in 2026 on the New York-based label NNA Tapes. Vapor plays with the idea that creative inspiration often appears like a haze. It emerges and quickly dissipates again. For this reason, Kee Avil has conceived *Vapor* as a deconstructed album: the songs will be released gradually over the course of the year—as a sort of acoustic diary, in which each song reflects a frozen moment in time.
