Who are these figures - if they are not angels - who happily romp on the wild lion and unsuspectingly reach into the dense mane? They go hunting, pick flowers and help with the harvest... The so-called putti at Benrath Palace tell their very own story of rural life in the summer residence. Whether they are worked into the stucco, on paintings, on the valuable porcelain or as sculptures - everywhere they mischievously and playfully intervene in daily events. On a guided tour of the main building of Benrath Palace, we will therefore see what else the countless putti can tell us that is exciting.
