In the organizer's words:
Alexandre Shubitidze plays selected pieces in which masculine and feminine energies collide, such as in Beethoven's Op. 111, Chopin's Etude Op. 25 No. 7, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12 and Prokofiev's Toccata Op. 11.
In the masterpieces of classical composers, the theme of emotional imbalance caused by the so-called masculine and feminine energies in conflict with each other occurs frequently. At the same time, there are often honest, transparent expressions of masculine and feminine energies that naturally combine and lead to spiritual sublimity.
Alexandre Shubitidze weaves from this an energetic evening on his modus operandi - a painted Bechstein piano.
