How does medicine get to where it works? Let's imagine we have a headache and take a tablet to relieve it. How does the active ingredient get to where the pain is? And how must such a tablet be manufactured so that the active ingredient comes out again and actually reaches the right place? In the lecture on modern galenics, we look at the production of different pharmaceutical forms, how they are taken and the processes in the body that determine whether a tablet helps or not.
