Kiwi – Filmvorführung & Gespräch

As part of the exhibition: A part of me, a part of you!

The film Kiwi (approx. 60 min.) tells the story of Eda's break with her family and her departure in 2018. Accompanied by perspectives from school, therapy and youth welfare, the film also sheds light on the life of her mother Meryem, who sacrificed a lot as the sole main breadwinner. Two generations, two paths - and the later rapprochement through distance. A film about rebellion, sacrifice and the quiet power of mutual appreciation. Following the screening, we will talk to the filmmaker about the process of making the film as well as her personal development, her life's journey and the insights she has gained from it in retrospect.
