Spring is here and we're all in the mood for outfits again.

Get out of your knitted sweaters and jeans - it's time for a bit of styling and fun again. But because we also know the immense impact that thoughtless #FastFashion consumption has on our environment, we're swapping again.

And on a grand scale at the Rufffactory in Cologne Ehrenfeld.

On the occasion of Fashion Revolution Week, we would like to talk to you about the abuses of the textile industry, educate and discuss, but also celebrate alternative consumption options! Swapping, upcycling and repairing!

And this time even with a great workshop with natural dyes with Botanical Dye Studio.

HOW IT WORKS:

➜ Bring a maximum of 10 well-preserved and washed (!!) "closet keepers" that you no longer wear and that would still bring joy to others!

➜ These can be items of clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry (except: defective/soiled clothing, hosiery & underwear!). You hand these in at our check-in and then...

➜...we swap! Stroll around the huge swap area with your friends and give one or more new favorite items a new home!

Why ➜ The longer the life of an item of clothing, the less impact it has on the environment. We should all aim to keep clothes in circulation for as long as possible, because there are already more than enough of them. Give your discarded clothes a new lease of life and swap them for other favorite items - without wasting resources!

Use the day to exchange ideas, network - and of course share the fun of fashion and take home new favorite clothes.

Any clothes left over at the end will be donated to our partner, the German Clothing Foundation, which will use them for humanitarian aid.
