We would like to cordially invite you to our "Welcoming 2026". In a stage discussion, we will address the topic "The future of Cologne as a city of culture - How cultural policy, administration and civil society can secure the cultural development of the city".

And that's what it's all about:

The panel talk is dedicated to the central question of how Cologne's future as a city of culture can be shaped. In a moderated on-stage discussion, representatives of the Klubkomm board will discuss the challenges and opportunities that can be expected for Cologne's cultural development under the newly elected mayor and the new situation in the city council.

The discussion will focus on the following topics in particular:

- Political framework conditions for the next legislative period, the importance of cultural policy

- Noise and usage conflicts between cultural venues, urban development and residents

- The economic situation of clubs, event organizers and creative businesses

- Funding structures and administrative processes to support cultural offerings

Following the stage program, we cordially invite you all to toast to a successful year 2026 at the buffet and bar and to enter into an exchange on Cologne's future prospects.
