We talk about the cycle, NFP, contraception and society!

An event organized by the B.O. Jugendpolitik of the KJR Freising.
On 13.05.2026 at 7 pm in the lecture tent of the uferlos Freising:

No more taboos!
In an interactive mix of pub quizzes, talks and workshops, speakers from the fields of menstrual cycle knowledge, sex education and feminist health education will shed light on the menstrual cycle from all possible perspectives!

What exactly can you expect?
Contraception unwrapped: Michaela Meier and Sophie Schranner from the Freising Health Department will give an overview of all common contraceptives and explain
contraceptives and explain how they work in the body.
But before that, they put your cycle knowledge to the test in a pub quiz...
Cycle knowledge and NFP: NFP advisor Sophie Auernhammer then refreshes your cycle knowledge and shows why the symptothermal method NFP according to Sensiplan is more than just a safe alternative to hormonal contraception.
Cycle & society: Last but not least, feminist health education speakers Alma Lamey and Lara Ortlieb will shed light on what the menstrual cycle means for people from different socio-economic backgrounds, what politics should do and what we can all do better together.
