The special edition of "Klaaf em Mediapark" at the Krätzjer Fest features ditties and music. The new duo Silke Essert and Josef Piek celebrated a brilliant premiere at Cologne's Krätzjer Fest last year. The two had sought and found each other - as if they had been on stage together for years: rousing and genuinely Cologne. Silke Essert, puppeteer at the Hänneschen Theater and former front woman of the legendary Lamentas, lets the singing skeleton Skully "övver de Britz" flit about in Knollendorf. Josef Piek, who has not only accompanied Tommy Engel and Purple Schulz and performed with Köbes Underground at the Stunksitzung, is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to Cologne music.
And Ruth Schiffer, cabaret artist and "Kölsch bes op de Knoche" reads and sings from her large repertoire in advance. She is on the road with Stunk unplugged, frontwoman of the Rhingdöchter and has also been a seminar leader at the Akademie för uns kölsche Sproch for a year now. She wrote many of the texts for the new teaching materials. At the end, the three sing Cologne evergreens together.
