From the untouched tribes of Ethiopia to the ghettos of South Africa, documentary filmmaker Agnes immerses herself in the contrasts of a continent in transition. Her year-long journey reveals not only the majestic beauty of African landscapes, but also life on the margins of society and how much we can learn from these people. She meets creative survivalists, ghetto bosses and tribal women who allow themselves to be bloodily whipped. She lives and travels like the locals, takes many things with humor and reveals facets of Africa that challenge our Western views.
