ANSA SAUERMANN – SOLO: WHAT HAVE WE BEEN WAITING FOR – 2026
By the time he finished his major tours as the opening act for Element of Crime and Faber in the summer of 2025, Ansa had fallen in love with the power of minimalism all over again. When given enough space—rearranged and given a fresh new look—his songs unfold with a very special magic and impact. Whether stormy and loud with an acoustic guitar and kick drum, or dreamy and electric on the electric guitar, his lyrics sound and feel excitingly new and relevant in this setting. On his first solo tour through Germany, he embarks on a journey through time spanning the last twelve years, four albums, and two EPs. Over 50 songs were created during this period. In a brand-new program, Ansa Sauermann presents not only his greatest hits but also his personal favorites from his musical body of work.
TWELVE YEARS – FOUR ALBUMS: A MUSICAL “BEST OF”
On February 27 of this year, Ansa released his latest studio album, “Gehts noch,” and took it on the road with his band to stages across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As the world out there is increasingly falling apart, it’s no wonder that this has become not only his most political album, but also his rockiest and loudest. After all, his first guitar was an electric one. However, Sauermann will now prove that these new songs work just as well with the volume turned all the way up—even without the band—on his “Worauf haben wir gewartet” solo tour in the fall of 2026. On a biographical journey from Dresden via Vienna to the world, he’ll present not only many older songs but also current ones—and even a completely new, as-yet-unreleased track.
Between greatness and madness—between being in love and worn out
Back from the big to the small—and a little less loud
