"Music for us"! The "Jungs vun d'r schälen Sick" seduce their audience with their butter-soft acoustic sound. Own Cologne lyrics - humorous and critical - written on well-known hits, but also their own melodies - that is the recipe of the Cologne band. Peter (vocals), Christoph (piano and vocals), Helge (guitar, electric guitar and "Flitsch"), Pee J (bass) and Gerald (drums) create the La Mätta "Kölsch-Folk-Style" and want to inspire their fans in the Cologne area.

Kölle, here we come! The band La Mätta started out as a three-piece in 2021. One of their first gigs was in front of a large tinsel curtain. That's how the band name came about. The term was then "cologneized". Peter and Christoph are still with us. Helge and Pee J joined in 2023. The band was finalized by Gerald at the beginning of 2025. Previous tours: Flönz un Kölsch Tour 22 and La Mätta's kleine Kneipen-Tour 24. Another highlight was a concert with orchestra in September 2025!
