Philipp Wisser is a jazz guitarist from Düsseldorf who is active on the German jazz scene. Known for his versatile and atmospheric playing techniques on the guitar, he combines influences from various jazz genres with modern elements in his characteristic sound, creating an unmistakable style.

Wisser frequently performs in various formations and is active both with his own projects and as a member of various ensembles. In addition to his performances, he works as a composer and dedicates himself to projects that explore and develop modern jazz.

In his latest project, he presents a quartet that positions itself as follows: "We like structure and freedom. Jazz combines both like no other art form and allows us to create unique moods that are well thought out and artfully crafted." The quartet takes its audience on a journey through the diverse world of jazz - from its classic bebop roots to the modern currents of contemporary jazz.
