Konzertlesung „Himmel voll Blut“ im Rahmen der jüdischen Woche
In the organizer's words:
The musical reading "Himmel voll Blut" is dedicated to the diaries of the young Jewish author Mosche Flinker, whose haunting clarity is still moving today. They tell of persecution, fear and hope and represent many Jewish voices of the time. Flinker's vision of a future in Erez Israel, characterized by dialogue with the Arab-Palestinian population, opens up a moving space for thought. The texts will be read by Maximilian Rainer Hauptmann, with musical accompaniment by pianist Hyeheon Yoo. In the context of the Jewish Week Leipzig 2026, the event is intended as a contribution to a joint reflection on Jewish life, experiences and history - then and now.
