Kritzel Krakel Spielerei: Offene open air Malwerkstatt

Cephalopods and other creatures scurry through abstract fantasy worlds, here a chaos of colors, there a geometric order, over there individual letters, texts with or without meaning. Instead of naturalism, we pursue the simplified depiction of animals and humans that can also be found in the world of comics and street art.
We paint with acrylic markers and brushes on a wooden construction that is temporarily set up in front of the LUISE. No previous artistic experience is required, as virtually anything is allowed and encouraged. And don't worry, Kritzel and Krakel have a few tips in store for blocked synapses and hands. Bine Mayer, an artist from Munich, is in charge of the screen printing workshop at the Färberei and combines abstract fantasy images with the simplified lines of the cartoon style in her comic works.
