The KStA Genuss-Club is launching its series of events "Behind the scenes of Cologne's best kitchens".

The multi-award-winning restaurant VUNKY Foods on Eigelstein will kick off the series.

What you can expect:

Tom Mackenroth and Kaddy Saidykhan - the host couple behind one of Cologne's most exciting restaurants - will welcome 50 guests to their restaurant's showroom. The program includes a creative three-course menu, exclusive insights behind the scenes and a special encounter with the world of fermentation: How do local ingredients and microorganisms give rise to unique flavours? How does VUNKY produce its own non-alcoholic beverages?

And those who love wine will also get their money's worth: the evening will be accompanied by the corkage concept - with selected wines, exciting insights and brief introductions; questions are expressly encouraged.

Vunky Foods was named New Opening of the Year 2025 by food critic Carsten Henn and won the "Green Management of the Year" award at the Fizz Awards 2025. This evening is your chance to get to know the restaurant in a very special way.

1. Tickets: 79 euros per person (3-course menu + behind-the-scenes insights / drinks exclusive: you can choose between a wine pairing, a non-alcoholic drinks pairing or a classic à la carte drinks order on site).
