Aki can't believe his misfortune! 14 days on a lonely island - without internet and only in the company of his antediluvian parents. This is supposed to be a vacation! But the vacation doesn't turn out to be quite so lonely after all. Aki quickly makes friends with a wild donkey, with whom he explores the island from then on. During one of their forays, the two meet a quaint old woman who has retired here to pursue her research for the good of the world. But Aki's initial enthusiasm for her cause begins to crumble...
