Welcome to the cultural breakfast at FFT Düsseldorf. This free offer is aimed at anyone who would like to take a look behind the scenes of independent theater and talk about it with others! Every 2nd Friday of the month, we invite you to meet artists and other guests, current topics and new plays in our foyer.

The FFT is a place for independent theater in the new Düsseldorf cultural center KAP1. You can see dance, theater or performances on our stages. Our spacious foyer invites you to come together. Together with our neighbors from the Central Library and the Kulturliste Düsseldorf e.V., we offer a meeting place for people interested in theater and all those who would like to become one. Over a cup of coffee and a pastry, you will get an insight into our program. You will get to know the artists who work at the theater and learn details about the plays that will soon be performed on our stages.

At every cultural breakfast , you have the opportunity to find out more about the Kulturliste Düsseldorf and register on site.

Parents with children are always welcome at the FFT! The cultural breakfast offers a relaxed setting in which you can get a taste of culture with your children.

Fri. 9.2. - with PINSKER + BERNHARDT

Janna Pinsker and Wicki Bernhardt were awarded the Faust Theater Prize in the "Theater for Young Audiences" category in 2023. They will present their latest play at the Kultur-Frühstück .

Fri 8.3. - with the performers from Daughters of the Future

In keeping with International Women's Day, we will be talking about the play Daughters of the Future at this cultural breakfast . It features 17 young female performers on stage. Together, they look for ways to say "No!" and take the future into their own hands.

Fri 12.4. - with La Fleur

We talk to the group La Fleur about the dream job of a professional footballer. The artists from France, the Ivory Coast and Germany are currently developing their piece Konami - der Fußballtanz at the FFT. It will then go on tour in Europe.

Fri 3.5 - with machina eX

In May, the group machina eX invites us to their large-scale urban space play Wenn der Regen kommt . It deals with the question of whether we humans can influence the weather - and whether we should. Also there: the Literaturbüro NRW with a preview of the Literary Summer.

Fri 14.6. - with Daniel Ernesto Müller

Dad, dad, godmother, mom, mom, harmonica, grandma, grandpa, cuddly toy... Who all belongs to the family? That's what the play Hippe Sippe by Daniel Ernesto Müller is about. The choreographer and performer is our guest at this summer cultural breakfast.
