Kulturflohmarkt

In the organizer's words:

Our regular indoor flea market has already attracted many visitors in the past. So why not organize a larger and (even more) colourful cultural flea market with something for all generations, from the very young to the very old?

No sooner said than done: volunteers and the whole team at the Kulturhaus lend a hand. On November 26 from 3 p.m., the Kulturhaus Milbertshofen will offer much more in addition to the flea market in the large hall and foyer on the first floor. There will be three (!) live concerts, a clothes swap on the second floor, a cargo bike course organized by Freie Lastenradl e.V. (whatever the weather!), the Repaircafé in the foyer on the second floor to help repair old treasures that should never be thrown away, and as we are all slowly ringing in the start of the Advent season, there will be grilled sausages on the terrace on the second floor and, of course, a cup of mulled wine or punch.

Flea market

Flea markets are and have always been popular. It's not just about selling, but about bargaining, haggling and chatting on the side - in short, about coming together and the community. If you want to be there with a table, then register at the following link:

We charge 10 euros per table, there are no thematic restrictions, set-up from 2 pm, start 3 pm.

Concerts

1VOICE (blues rock) from 4 pm

The 1voice project was founded in 2023 through the collaboration of Angelo Arcifa and Phil Etti. From blues rock to indie pop & beyond, a wide range of sounds is presented here. True to the credo: listen, dance and enjoy!

PICKIN WITH A PURPOSE (Folk) from 5 pm

Picking with a purpose - down-to-earth, authentic, from heart to hand to ear. Folky blues and bluesy folk, performed by three multi-stringed gentlemen, mostly 3 guitars and lots of rattles.

INTERLUDE (Jazz-Classics) 6 p.m.

Jazz from Munich // Maksim Rogovoi (dr), Bernhard Sporkmann (git), Ronald Matthiä (bg), Sven Becker (sax), Reinhard Bothschafter (key). The five musicians are currently working on their own pieces, improvising on the harmonies of Folias and interpreting the canon of Monk, Davis, Parker and many more.

Clothes swap

Would you like to take part in the community clothes swap? Bring us your swap clothes and we'll give you a ticket for the clothes swap. You can take as much clothing per person as will fit into two standard cloth bags (it's best to take two bags). You can bring your favorite used items to us from Tuesday 21.11. to Saturday 25.11. from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please only bring items that are in good condition and have been washed, as you will benefit from them yourself at the swap on Sunday. Adult and children's clothing will be laid out in different rooms. It will be a great help if you bring your clothes by already separated accordingly. p.s. If you have not brought your own clothes, you can purchase tickets for 3 euros on the day of the clothes swap.

Cargo bike training

The free cargo bikes can be hired out quickly and easily free of charge at many stations. Anyone who has ridden a large or motorized cargo bike for the first time knows that it can be a slight adjustment until you are safe on the road: So that you can train your skills and get to know the team of freie Lastenradl e.V. personally, there is a course with a cargo bike driving license training in our underground parking garage.

Repair café

Repair cafés have now established themselves throughout Munich and are one of the many offers for social and sustainable cooperation. We also host a repair café once a month at the Kulturhaus Milbertshofen, organized by dedicated volunteers. It's better to repair than to throw away, better to get cherished items working again than to produce even more waste. Anyone who has ever been here knows that it not only saves our planet's resources, but also your wallet. You can register your repair on the event website.
