Stadtteildinner „Gemeinsam am Tisch – Vielfalt teilen, Lebensmittel retten“

In the organizer's words:

May 23 is a day of honor: Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with the German Foundation for

Engagement and Volunteering calls on all citizens to become active for the community on the birthday of the Basic Law.

to become active. All over Germany, associations, organizations, companies and individuals are organizing the

day - with small campaigns or large events, but always with great commitment.

One of these campaigns is our city district dinner: a public, intercultural buffet where visitors can bring along food from different cultures.

bring dishes from different cultures - preferably from rescued food - and share them with each other.

Together with "Ankommen in Deutschland e.V.", foodsharing München e.V. and the Kulturhaus Milbertshofen, the

Klimainitiative München invites everyone to join in and talk to each other. All cultures are invited,

also with musical contributions to make it a colorful dinner!

How you can take part:

1. rescue food (e.g. from a local initiative, a supermarket, a weekly market - or from your fridge or garden ...),

2. prepare something tasty from it,

3. label it with a small sign (name of the dish | country of origin | your name (optional)),

4. bring food to the buffet,

5. get something from the buffet, just sit down somewhere ...

6. ... and enjoy the food and conversation!

Whether you are a neighbor, a friend or just curious - everyone is welcome.

Registration is not necessary. Dishes are available on site.
