Kulturnacht 2026 in der Lagerhalle
In the organizer's words:
Every year since 2001, in late summer, numerous participants have taken part in the diverse program of the Osnabrück Culture Night, which invites visitors to see, hear, and participate in events held at the theater, the art museum, the cathedral, and the museum quarter.
Here is the program at the Lagerhalle:
5:30 p.m., Gallery
Exhibition opening:
In the Yellow Time – Melpomene’s Images
The secret to the group’s longevity (since 1994) surely lies in its focus on this single common denominator—skillfully and meticulously executed figurative painting. Another shared trait is the intention to critically reflect on current conditions through artistic means. Exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the Lagerhalle.
6:00 p.m., beer garden
7:15 p.m., Hall
Meike Köster & Helge Adam
As part of Osnabrück’s Culture Night on August 29, 2026, Braunschweig-based singer-songwriter Meike Koester will perform at the Lagerhalle alongside pianist and composer Helge Adam. For many years, Helge Adam has been a perfect musical partner, shaping Meike Köster’s warm, atmospheric sound with his sensitive yet powerful piano playing. Together, they will present songs from their latest album, *Wieder Laut*—nominated for the “German Record Critics’ Award”—which blends elements of Americana, acoustic rock, and German-language singer-songwriter pop. Personal, poetic lyrics, virtuoso guitar playing, and the duo’s special musical chemistry promise an intense concert evening full of warmth, energy, and emotion.
6:45 p.m. + 8:00 p.m., Foyer
Young Sounds of the Orient
The alumni of the Morgenland Academy are united by their openness to new soundscapes as well as their great passion for music. As part of Culture Night, former participants will present a multifaceted program featuring works from the Arab and Persian cultural spheres.
7:00–11:00 p.m., Room 203
Open Jewelry Workshop
In the silversmithing workshop at the Lagerhalle, one-of-a-kind pieces are handcrafted: rings, earrings, and necklaces are made from silver, some featuring gemstones, gold, or other materials.
From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, visitors can watch the jewelry makers at work as they bring their ideas to life.
8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Beer Garden
Woodhaus
Cheesy ’80s sounds meet catchy singer-songwriter soul. Woodhaus writes songs that carry you through the day. His musical universe spans the sounds of the ’70s and ’80s all the way to modern synth-pop. Rousing feel-good music with a dash of emotion. (Photo above)
9:00 p.m., Main Hall
Echoes of a Dreamer
TABEAH (VOCALS) – LIRAN PAZ KEHAT (GUITAR) – NADAV FAST (VIOLIN)
This trio is united by a shared passion for allowing the music of the unknown to reveal itself in the moment—born of presence, honesty, and connection.
As masters of their craft, they weave voice, guitar, and violin into a free-flowing dance across an infinite sonic landscape that defies any genre classification. Emerging from silence, they serve as channels for the powerful forces of music and nature. Their connection is a bold, ongoing dialogue—a journey of love, rooted in deep listening to one another and to life itself.
Their music is psychedelic in the truest, most organic sense—a living, breathing space that invites the audience to journey together through many dimensions and, at times, to become part of a singing tribe themselves.
Echoes of a Dreamer brings together three extraordinary musicians: Tabeah (vocalist and composer), Liran Paz Kehat (guitarist, composer, and producer), and Nadav Fast (violinist and producer). Based in both Israel and Germany, each artist brings many years of international touring, recording, and collaboration experience with renowned artists from the jazz, world music, and spiritual music scenes. Now they come together to explore new, uncharted territories.
