In the organizer's words:
An evening where sound becomes visible and color becomes audible: In August, the Kunst.Raum.Konzerte series brings together the Leipzig-based duo Görda with the Dresden-based flower shop Flow —indie pop meets vibrant floristry, poetry meets the plant world.
Görda consists of Sophia Günst and Annelie Weißel—two multi-instrumentalists who weave vocals, electric bass, flute, synthesizer, cello, and beats into multi-layered soundscapes. Their sound blends introspective indie pop with danceable grooves, clever lyrics with atmospheric depth. Poetic and witty, their stories tell of everyday life and utopia, daydreams and ecstasy. The Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten wrote: “When music and poetry come together like this, an evening becomes a stroke of luck.” In 2026, they were honored as “Best New Acts” in the Popmusik Sachsen competition and selected for the Bauhaus Residenz.
Flow is no ordinary flower shop. Owner Annette runs her sustainable business in Dresden’s Neustadt district with a clear philosophy: no artificial aids, no run-of-the-mill greenery—instead, wild color combinations, dried flowers, and floral installations as whimsical as a good song. At the Kunst.Raum.Konzerte, they’ll create a live floral installation in the space while Görda plays—a floral work that comes to life at the very same moment as the music.
An event as part of the Kunst.Raum.Konzerte series, produced by Ballroom Culture gUG in cooperation with GEH8.
Supported by the City of Dresden and Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden.
